Peewee Football Info

Peewee Age

Players must be 11 to 12 years of age

Equipment

All football equipment is provided, with the exception of cleats & mouthguards, which is the responsibility of the player

All Players will be equipped with Xenith Helmets. Click link below for more info

Practices

Tuesday -Thursday 6:00 - 8:30 pm

*Players must attend a minimum of 2 practices per week to play in games

All practices are in Airdrie, Alberta

Season

The Peewee football season starts the first week of August, ending in mid November.

Regular season games begin the third week of August. There is also a June Prep Camp weekend and 1 week practice in June every year.

2024 Peewee Fees are $680

-June Skills Camp Weekend plus 1 week June practice (20 hours total practice time)

-98 Hours of Practice Time & 7 Regular Season Games plus 2 Playoff Games

-Calgary Peewee League Fees (Referees, Field Rentals, etc.)

-Calgary Minor Football Charity Jamboree

-Certification of Coaches

2024 Peewee Tackle Football Registration Opens June 2024!!

The Airdrie Storm Peewee Football Team is a member of the Calgary and Area Peewee Football Association (CPFA). Players compete in 12 man football using Canadian Football League rules.

Culture & Philosophy

Provide a Safe Environment for young players to develop in tackle football.
All Players will PLAY a minimum of 50% of Regular Season Games in their specific position. Playing time during playoffs is based on Regular Season Performance.
This is a Competitive team that carries a maximum of 40 roster players. Fall Season Tryouts run from August 1st till the 3rd weekend in August. Players who do not make this team are given priority registration for the Airdrie Storm 9 Man Tackle Team or Xtreme Flag League that runs from August to the first week of October.
