U11-ATOM STORM TACKLE FOOTBALL
The Airdrie Storm U11 Tackle Football Team is a member of the Calgary Atom Football League. Players compete in 10 man football with modified rules to help develop Skills, Knowledge, and a Love for the game. There are no Standings or Scores Kept for this League. It is a DEVELOPMENT League to help players learn the game.

All Players will PLAY a minimum of 50% of Regular Season Games in their position

We have 3 teams that carry a maximum of 25 roster players per team. Tryouts are held in August each year for these teams. We only release players if we have more than 75 players register to play.

Only Two Full Contact Practices per week to limit risk of injury

We do our best to accommodate Hockey and Basketball players during their Team tryouts. We allow players to skip Practice & Games if necessary for Tryouts ONLY. Once tryouts have been completed players are not allowed to skip Football Games for their other sport and must attend the two FULL EQUIPMENT practices every week to be eligible for games.

Equipment
All football equipment is provided, with the exception of cleats, gloves and mouth guards which is the responsibility of the player

All Players will be equipped with Xenith or Riddell Helmets that are NOCSAE certified and on the approved NFL Helmet list.

Practices
Monday-Wednesday 6:00pm - 8:30pm
*Players must attend Monday & Tuesday Full Equipment practices every week to play in games
All Practices are in Airdrie, Alberta

Season
The U11-Atom football season starts the first weekend of June, with our Combine & Skills Camp. We will than run Non Equipment Practices Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday for 2 weeks in June. We do not Practice or run any programs during the month of July. Fall Practices will begin Monday August 11th and the season runs until Sunday November 2nd
