The Airdrie Storm Peewee Football Team is a member of the Calgary and Area Peewee Football Association (CPFA). Players compete in 12 man football using Canadian Football League rules

Culture & Philosophy

• Provide a Safe Environment for young players to develop in tackle football.

• All Players will PLAY a minimum of 50% of Regular Season Games in their specific position. Playing time during playoffs is based on Regular Season Performance.

• We field 1 Competitive team each year that carries a maximum of 40 roster players that play in the Calgary Peewee Football League. Tryouts are held in June & the first two weeks of August each year for this team.

• Players who attend tryouts and are not selected for the team will have the option to join another team within the Calgary Peewee Football League or remain with our program as a practice roster player at a reduced fee.

• If registration exceeds 80 players, we will field a second team. The requirement for 80+ registered players is based on Calgary Peewee Football League regulations, which limit the number of players who can participate on both offense and defense (two-way players). Maintaining sufficient roster depth is necessary to ensure both teams can operate competitively, safely and in compliance with league rules.

• We do our best to accommodate Hockey and Basketball players during their Team tryouts. We allow players to skip Football practices & Games if necessary for TRYOUTS ONLY. Once tryouts have been completed players are not allowed to skip Football Games for their other sport and must attend the two FULL EQUIPMENT  practices every week to be eligible for games.
